As part of the DARYA project, a draft Assessment Guide for the validation of non-formal and informal learning was presented

On March 31, 2026, as part of Module 2 of the DARYA project, an online webinar was held to present the Assessment Guide for the validation of non formal and informal learning in Central Asian countries. The event was conducted in Russian and was organized as part of efforts to develop qualifications systems and mechanisms for recognizing learning outcomes.

During the webinar, DARYA international expert Baiba Ramina presented the main provisions of the Guide, which was prepared based on the 2023 European Guidelines on the Validation of Non-formal and Informal Learning. The document has been adapted to the conditions of Central Asian countries and takes into account the results of national self-assessments, as well as the experience of previous pilot phases of the project.

The development of such a guide is an important step toward establishing more transparent, sustainable, and practice-oriented approaches to the recognition of competencies acquired outside of formal education.
